(Houston, Texas) - On 9/17 Houston Professional Women Organization (HPWO) in partnership with American Title Company-Sugar Land celebrated women empowerment, community leaders, all industries and the local business community that provides products and services in the greater Houston area by spotlighting businesses and organizations. Women-Led and Women-Owned businesses.
Our Communications Team interviewed attendees, and were so inspired by the positive energy and emerging partnerships during the event. Here's some of the highlights and what you can expect as the energy that filled the room!
“If we really want to progress the only way is to involve every women, one thing I must admit the potential our women, they not only do the execute the task in the excellent manner but they are multi tasking! I am proud of the women here today! For me Women Empowerment is all about supporting them and providing tools and resources so they can excel in every space” said KP George, Fort Bend County Judge.
Afsheen Bhamani, Board Member of Houston Professional Women Organization (HPWO) echoed the same sentiment "We are all about collaboration and supporting one another and want to keep the momentum flowing by funding, buying, promoting and connecting women professionals in every industry! Sonia Rash also emphasized on bringing all communities together for the real change and for real results to happen! Keeping Diversity, Inclusion, Justice and Equity topics in the forefront is the fiber of our organization. We want to be obsessive about inclusion. We want to hold a chair open, support the chair and amplify ideas!
