The CLP is an in-person, free, non-partisan half-day event where AIT, local partner organizations, and community leaders provide civic engagement training and tools to help underrepresented women develop civic leadership skills. We will have a panel conversation with local leaders from Dallas, breakout sessions led by local nonprofits, and interactive training and tabling from local partners.
Join us and bring participants. Bring your staff, volunteers, friends, family, clients and community to be part of our event. We want to reach as many women as possible, this is a great opportunity to support the civic engagement of your community in a free, fun, nonpartisan way.
Share with your network and community. Help us spread the word! Share the details of our event in your newsletters and social media channels.
CLP provides wrap-around services at their events including childcare, transportation, and translation services. If you have attendees that need access to these sorts of accommodations, please let us know and we are happy to arrange. Free breakfast and lunch as well as small gifts will be provided for participants and partners.
