Celebrate Preservation Month with a Heritage Preview Preservation Party at the Texas Pool
Bringing together communities for over 65 Years to #SwimAcrossTexas!
Plano, Texas, – May 17, 2022 – Celebrate National Preservation Month locally at The Texas Pool Heritage Preview Preservation Party on Saturday, May 21st from 11 AM - 2 PM, with a Historical Presentation starting at 11:15 AM outlining the impact and preservation progress of the Texas Pool. The event takes place outdoors at The Texas Pool 901 Springbrook Dr Plano, TX 75075. The event attracts Texas Pool enthusiasts, members, community leaders, partners, civic leaders, influencers, media & dedicated community volunteers. The annual event marks the reopening of the closest saltwater swim destination in North Texas, by providing event attendees an opportunity to swim, see and support the 501c3 national historic site. Event attendees will have the opportunity to swim with the Mermaids, enjoy the live tropical steel drum music by beloved musician Charles Duhon, and take souvenir photos and selfies with new & old friends, all while sipping and snacking on locally sourced treats and a self-guided tour by local Girl Scouts from Troop #6585.
